وصف الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب حكم محكمة الاستئناف الفيدرالية باستمرار فرض معظم الرسوم الجمركية الشاملة في الوقت الحالي أنه بمثابة نصر عظيم ومهم للولايات المتحدة.
وكتب ترمب في منشور عبر منصته «تروث سوشيال» اليوم (الأربعاء): «أصدرت محكمة الاستئناف أخيراً حكماً يسمح لأمريكا باستخدام التعريفات الجمركية لحماية نفسها من الدول الأخرى».
وذلك بعدما مددت المحكمة مهلة سابقة قصيرة الأجل مُنحت للإدارة الأمريكية، بما يعني إمكان ترمب الاستمرار في فرض التعريفات الجمركية العالمية في الوقت الحالي.
ويعني ذلك الاستمرار في فرض التعريفات المتبادلة على معظم الشركاء التجاريين إلى جانب الرسوم المنفصلة المفروضة على كندا، والمكسيك، والصين.

The American President Donald Trump described the federal appeals court's ruling to continue imposing most comprehensive tariffs at this time as a great and important victory for the United States.
Trump wrote in a post on his platform "Truth Social" today (Wednesday): "The appeals court has finally issued a ruling that allows America to use tariffs to protect itself from other countries."
This comes after the court extended a previously granted short-term deadline for the U.S. administration, meaning Trump can continue to impose global tariffs at this time.
This means continuing to impose reciprocal tariffs on most trading partners in addition to separate tariffs imposed on Canada, Mexico, and China.
