ارتفعت الأسهم الأوروبية قليلًا؛ لتعوّض بعض خسائرها بعد موجة بيع حادّة أخيراً، في حين تراجعت الأسهم السويسرية إلى أدنى مستوياتها في أكثر من ثلاثة أشهر مع استيعاب المستثمرين للرسوم الجمركية الأمريكية البالغة 39%.
وزاد المؤشر ستوكس 600 الأوروبي 0.2%، بعد أن سجل أكبر انخفاض يومي له في أكثر من ثلاثة أشهر يوم الجمعة. وانخفض مؤشر إس.إم.آي القياسي السويسري 1.5% مع استئناف التداول بعد عطلة نهاية أسبوع طويلة.
وتراجع سهما شركتي الأدوية السويسرية نوفارتيس وروش بنسبة 1.3% و2.3% على التوالي بعد أن بعث الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب رسائل إلى قيادات 17 شركة أدوية كبرى يطالبهم فيها بخفض أسعار الأدوية التي تصرف بوصفة طبية في الولايات المتحدة.
وتراجعت شركتا ريتشمونت وسواتش للسلع الفاخرة، وهما من بين أكثر الشركات السويسرية تأثرا بالرسوم الجمركية، بأكثر من 1.5% لكل منهما.
من جهته، قال وزير الأعمال السويسري جاي بارميلان:«إن سويسرا قد تراجع عرضها للولايات المتحدة، بعد أن فرضت عليها رسوما جمركية باهظة في أواخر الأسبوع الماضي وحذر خبراء من أنها قد تؤدي إلى ركود».

European stocks rose slightly to recover some of their losses after a recent sharp sell-off, while Swiss stocks fell to their lowest levels in over three months as investors absorbed the 39% U.S. tariffs.
The Stoxx 600 index increased by 0.2% after recording its largest daily decline in over three months on Friday. The Swiss SMI benchmark index dropped by 1.5% as trading resumed after a long weekend.
Shares of Swiss pharmaceutical companies Novartis and Roche fell by 1.3% and 2.3%, respectively, after U.S. President Donald Trump sent letters to the leaders of 17 major pharmaceutical companies demanding they lower the prices of prescription drugs in the United States.
Luxury goods companies Richemont and Swatch, among the most affected Swiss companies by the tariffs, each fell by more than 1.5%.
For his part, Swiss Minister of Business Guy Parmelin stated, "Switzerland may reconsider its offer to the United States after imposing hefty tariffs late last week, and experts warned that this could lead to a recession."
