أعلنت الحكومة الفرنسية منح الجنسية الفرنسية للممثل الأمريكي جورج كلوني، وزوجته أمل، وتوأميهما إيلا وألكسندر.
وتم نشر خبر حصول نجم سلسلة أفلام «أوشنز» المولود في كنتاكي، وعائلته، في الجريدة الرسمية الفرنسية في مطلع الأسبوع الحالي.
وأشار الإعلان الحكومي إلى أن المحامية الحقوقية أمل كلوني، حصلت على الجنسية بموجب اسمها قبل الزواج، وهو أمل علم الدين.
كما أشار إلى أن اسم جورج كلوني الأوسط هو تيموثي.
وفي مقابلة مع مجلة «إسكواير» في أكتوبر الماضي، وصف كلوني البالغ من العمر 64 عاما «مزرعتهما في فرنسا» بأنها مقر إقامتهما الرئيسي، وهو قرار اتخذه هو وزوجته البالغة من العمر 47 عاما، مع مراعاة ظروف توأميهما (8 أعوام).
وقال كلوني لمحطة آر.تي.إل في وقت سابق من الشهر الجاري، إنه من الضروري بالنسبة له ولزوجته أن يتمكن طفلاهما التوأم ألكسندر وإيلا من العيش في مكان تتاح لهما فيه فرصة الحياة بشكل طبيعي.
وأضاف كلوني للمحطة في الثاني من ديسمبر «هنا، لا يلتقطون صورا للأطفال. لا يوجد أي مصورين صحفيين متطفلين عند بوابات المدارس. هذا هو الهدف الأهم بالنسبة لنا».
واشترى الزوجان منزلا في مزرعة نحو 10.59 مليون دولار في بلدة برينيول جنوب فرنسا في عام 2021.
ووفقا لوسائل الإعلام الفرنسية فإن المنزل يضم حمام سباحة وملعب تنس.
وذكر «لدينا منزل أيضا في الولايات المتحدة، لكن أكثر مكان نشعر فيه بالسعادة هو هذه المزرعة، حيث يمكن للأطفال الاستمتاع بوقتهم».

It also noted that George Clooney's middle name is Timothy.
In an interview with "Esquire" magazine last October, the 64-year-old Clooney described "their farm in France" as their primary residence, a decision made by him and his 47-year-old wife, considering the circumstances of their 8-year-old twins.
Clooney told RTL earlier this month that it is essential for him and his wife that their twin children Alexander and Ella can live in a place where they have the opportunity to live normally.
Clooney added to the station on December 2, "Here, they don't take pictures of the children. There are no intrusive paparazzi at the school gates. This is the most important goal for us."
The couple purchased a home on a farm for about $10.59 million in the town of Brignoles in southern France in 2021.
According to French media, the house includes a swimming pool and a tennis court.
He mentioned, "We also have a home in the United States, but the place where we feel happiest is this farm, where the kids can enjoy their time."
