في أول تعليق له بعد تأييد سجنه 6 أشهر في قضية تعاطي المخدرات نشر الفنان المصري سعد الصغير عبر حسابه الرسمي على «فيسبوك» منشوراً عبّر فيه عن شكره لله على النعم التي يعيشها.
وكتب الصغير «غارقون في النعم.. لكننا لا ندري، اللهم لك الحمد والشكر دائمًا وأبدًا».
وأضاف «الحمد لله على النعم التي نعيشها كل يوم ولا ندركها لدوام وجودها، اللهم اجعل شكرنا أكثر من سؤالنا لك، ونعوذ بك أن نيأس أو نملّ».
ورفضت محكمة النقض الأحد الماضي الطعن المقدم من الفنان سعد الصغير على حكم حبسه 6 أشهر، بعد اتهامه بحيازة مواد مخدرة أثناء عودته إلى القاهرة من الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية عبر مطار القاهرة الدولي.
وبذلك أصبح الحكم نهائيًا وباتًا بعد رفض النقض، لتؤكد المحكمة العقوبة الموقعة عليه سابقًا من محكمة الجنح في القضية ذاتها.
In his first comment after the confirmation of his 6-month prison sentence for drug use, the Egyptian artist Saad El Soghayar posted on his official Facebook account expressing his gratitude to God for the blessings he enjoys.
El Soghayar wrote, "We are drowning in blessings... but we do not realize it. O Allah, all praise and thanks are for You, always and forever."
He added, "Thank God for the blessings we experience every day and do not recognize due to their constant presence. O Allah, make our gratitude greater than our requests to You, and we seek refuge in You from despair or boredom."
The Court of Cassation rejected last Sunday the appeal submitted by artist Saad El Soghayar against his 6-month prison sentence, after he was accused of possessing narcotic substances while returning to Cairo from the United States via Cairo International Airport.
Thus, the ruling became final and conclusive after the rejection of the appeal, confirming the penalty previously imposed on him by the misdemeanor court in the same case.
