أعلن الفنان اللبناني محمد فضل شاكر تعليق حفلاته الفنية القادمة بعد تسليم والده نفسه إلى الجيش اللبناني عند مدخل مخيم عين الحلوة للاجئين الفلسطينيين في صيدا جنوبي لبنان.
وقال شاكر في بيان أصدره «نظراً للظروف التي يمرّ بها والدي العزيز فضل شاكر، أعلن تعليق جميع حفلاتي القادمة التي كنت أتطلّع بشوقٍ كبير لإحيائها معكم».
وأضاف: «أسأل اللّه أن يكون الفرج قريباً، وأطلب منكم الدعاء لوالدي الذي كان دوماً يستمد قوته منكم، كل الحب والتقدير».
The Lebanese artist Mohamed Fadl Shaker announced the suspension of his upcoming concerts after his father handed himself over to the Lebanese army at the entrance of the Ain al-Hilweh Palestinian refugee camp in Sidon, southern Lebanon.
Shaker said in a statement he issued, "Due to the circumstances my dear father Fadl Shaker is going through, I announce the suspension of all my upcoming concerts that I was eagerly looking forward to performing with you."
He added, "I ask God for a swift resolution, and I request your prayers for my father, who has always drawn his strength from you. With all my love and appreciation."
