في خطوة مفاجئة، حرص النجم المصري عمرو دياب على زيارة رئيس وزراء لبنان نواف سلام، في منزله بالعاصمة بيروت، وذلك قبيل ساعات من الحفل الغنائي الضخم الذي أحياه، أمس السبت، وسط حضور جماهيري ضخم غير مسبوق.
وأشاد نواف سلام خلال اللقاء عن تأثيره الإيجابي على الجمهور اللبناني والعربي، معرباً عن امتنانه وتقديره له، حيث قال:«بيروت تحبك يا عمرو، وتفرح بقدومك دائما، لأنك تدخل الفرح إلى قلوب أهلها».
من جانبه، أعرب عمرو دياب خلال تصريحات تلفزيونية على هامش الحفل عن سعادته البالغة بزيارته للبنان من جديد، مؤكدا أن لبنان وطنه الثاني وله مكانة خاصة في قلبه، مشيراً إلى أنه ينتظر حفله بلبنان كل عام ومقابلة الجمهور اللبناني.
وعن طقوسه قبل أي حفل، أوضح: «شخصيا بعمل نفس الطقوس قبل صعودي على المسرح في أي حفل أكثر من 30 سنة نفس طقوسي بعملها قبل صعودي على المسرح، وببقى خايف وقلقان».
واختتم عمرو دياب حديثه أن ابنته جنا كانت ترغب في الحضور، قائلاً: «جنا بنتي كان نفسها تحضر معايا الحفلة، بس هي دلوقتي في لندن».
يشار إلى أن عمرو دياب أحيا حفلاً استثنائياً، ليلة السبت، مع الجمهور اللبناني، وسط حضور جماهيري كبير غير مسبوق من قبل، حيث قدم خلال الحفل مجموعة من أشهر أغانية التي تفاعل معها الجمهور اللبناني بالتصفيق والغناء.
ووجه عمرو دياب رسالة لجمهوره اللبناني فور صعوده على المسرح قائلاً: «وحشني لبنان، وحشتني بيروت، تعودنا أن نلتقي كل عام، وهذه هي السنة الثالثة التي أزوركم فيها ونلتقي قبل أن ينتهي موسم الصيف، شكرا لكل شخص له دور في أن أكون هنا معكم».
In a surprising move, the Egyptian star Amr Diab made sure to visit the Prime Minister of Lebanon, Nawaf Salam, at his home in the capital Beirut, just hours before the massive concert he held yesterday, Saturday, which saw an unprecedented large audience.
Nawaf Salam praised during the meeting the positive impact of Amr Diab on the Lebanese and Arab audience, expressing his gratitude and appreciation for him, saying: "Beirut loves you, Amr, and is always happy to welcome you, because you bring joy to the hearts of its people."
For his part, Amr Diab expressed during television statements on the sidelines of the concert his immense happiness at visiting Lebanon again, confirming that Lebanon is his second home and holds a special place in his heart, noting that he looks forward to his concert in Lebanon every year and meeting the Lebanese audience.
Regarding his rituals before any concert, he explained: "Personally, I do the same rituals before I go on stage at any concert for more than 30 years; I perform the same rituals before I go on stage, and I feel scared and anxious."
Amr Diab concluded his remarks by saying that his daughter Jana wanted to attend, stating: "My daughter Jana wanted to come to the concert with me, but she is currently in London."
It is worth mentioning that Amr Diab held an exceptional concert on Saturday night with the Lebanese audience, amidst an unprecedented large turnout, where he performed a selection of his most famous songs that the Lebanese audience interacted with through applause and singing.
Amr Diab sent a message to his Lebanese audience as soon as he took the stage, saying: "I missed Lebanon, I missed Beirut, we are used to meeting every year, and this is the third year I visit you before the summer season ends. Thank you to everyone who played a role in me being here with you."
