توفي، صباح أمس (الإثنين)، الفنان المصري أحمد رشوان، عن عمر يناهز 76 عامًا، بعد مسيرة فنية امتدت عقودًا.
وكان رشوان مقيمًا في دار رعاية الفنانين التابعة لنقابة المهن التمثيلية، الواقعة في مدينة السادس من أكتوبر، قبل نقله الى المستشفى لتلقي العلاج اللازم إثر تعرضه لوعكة صحية.
وأعلنت نقابة المهن التمثيلية في مصر خبر وفاته عبر بيان رسمي على صفحتها الرسمية في «فيسبوك» وقدمت التعازي والمواساة لأسرته.
وذكرت بأن الفنان أحمد رشوان وافته المنية بعد مسيرة فنية امتدت عقودًا، قدّم خلالها أعمالًا سينمائية ومسرحية وتلفزيونية تركت بصمة راسخة في ذاكرة الجمهور.
وقال مصدر مسؤول في نقابة المهن التمثيلية بمصر إن «الفنان الراحل لم يتوف داخل دار رعاية الفنانين كما أُشيع، بل فارق الحياة في أحد مستشفيات العاصمة القاهرة، بعد تعرضه لوعكة صحية مفاجئة منذ أيام عدة».
Egyptian artist Ahmed Rashwan passed away yesterday morning (Monday) at the age of 76, after a career that spanned decades.
Rashwan was residing in the artists' care home affiliated with the Actors' Syndicate, located in the Sixth of October City, before being transferred to the hospital for necessary treatment following a health crisis.
The Actors' Syndicate in Egypt announced his death through an official statement on its official Facebook page and extended condolences to his family.
It was mentioned that artist Ahmed Rashwan passed away after a career that lasted for decades, during which he presented cinematic, theatrical, and television works that left a lasting imprint in the audience's memory.
A responsible source in the Actors' Syndicate in Egypt stated that "the late artist did not pass away inside the artists' care home as rumored, but rather he died in one of the hospitals in Cairo after suffering a sudden health crisis several days ago."
