كشفت الفنانة التونسية لطيفة، مصير أعمالها الغنائية التي تعاونت فيها مع الموسيقار الراحل زياد الرحباني في ألبومها المنتظر، ما جعل الكثير يتساءل: هل ستخرج تلك الأعمال أم أنها لم تكتمل بعد؟
وحسمت لطيفة في تصريحات تلفزيونية، تلك التساؤلات، مؤكدة أنها انتهت من تسجيل جميع الأغاني الذي جمعتها مع الراحل زياد الرحباني في ألبومها المنتظر، لافتة إلى أنه كان من المفترض طرح الألبوم العام الماضي، ولكن تم تأجيله بسبب أحداث الحرب بالسنوات الأخيرة في لبنان.
وقالت لطيفة في حديثها: «الألبوم انتهى تسجيله من فترة كبيرة، والتنازلات عندي، وكان المفروض يتم طرحه العام الماضي، ولكن الأوضاع مكنتش مناسبة بسبب أحداث البلاد».
وأشارت لطيفة إلى أن «زياد الرحباني قدم في الألبوم مجهوداً كبيراً، وتعاوني معه كان حلماً بالنسبة لي»، معلقة: «زياد عامل شغل كبير فيه وخسارته كبيرة، وكنت بحلم أغني من ألحانه من وأنا عندي 14 سنة».
وعلى جانب آخر، انهارت لطيفة خلال وجودها لتقديم واجب العزاء في الراحل زياد الرحباني حزناً على وفاته عن عمر ناهز الـ69 عاماً بعد صراع مع المرض.
واحتشد الآلاف من الجمهور وأقارب وزملاء ومحبي الراحل أمام المستشفى صباح أمس، قبل أن يشيع جثمانه إلى مثواه في كنيسة رقاد السيدة، في بلدة المحيدثة بكفيا.
واستقبلت فيروز وابنتها ريما عزاء نجلها الراحل، ومن أبرز الحضور، كارمن لبس، جوليا بطرس، ماجدة الرومي، نجوى كرم، هبة طوجي، السيدة اللبنانية الأولى نعمت عون، ريتا حايك، مارسيل خليفة، المطربة مادونا، راغب علامة، عاصي الحلاني، ميريام فارس، هبة طوجي وغيرهم من النجوم.

Latifa clarified in television statements that she has finished recording all the songs she collaborated on with the late Ziad Rahbani for her upcoming album, noting that the album was supposed to be released last year, but it was postponed due to the events of war in recent years in Lebanon.
Latifa said in her talk: "The album has been recorded for a long time, and the concessions are with me. It was supposed to be released last year, but the situation wasn't suitable due to the events in the country."
Latifa pointed out that "Ziad Rahbani put in a great effort for the album, and my collaboration with him was a dream for me," adding: "Ziad did a great job on it, and his loss is significant. I had been dreaming of singing his melodies since I was 14 years old."
On another note, Latifa broke down while attending the condolence for the late Ziad Rahbani, mourning his death at the age of 69 after a battle with illness.
Thousands of fans, relatives, colleagues, and admirers of the late artist gathered in front of the hospital yesterday morning before his body was taken to its resting place at the Church of the Dormition of Our Lady in the town of Mhajta in Kfifia.
Fairuz and her daughter Rima received condolences for their late son, with notable attendees including Carmen Lebbos, Julia Boutros, Majida El Roumi, Najwa Karam, Hiba Tawaji, Lebanon's First Lady Naamat Aoun, Rita Hayek, Marcel Khalife, singer Madonna, Ragheb Alama, Assi El Helani, Myriam Fares, Hiba Tawaji, and other stars.
