كشف فريد بو سعيد نقيب محترفي الموسيقى والغناء في لبنان، تفاصيل الأيام الأخيرة في حياة الفنان اللبناني والموسيقار زياد الرحباني، الذي رحل عن عالمنا صباح اليوم عن عمر ناهز الـ 69 عاماً، مؤكداً أن الراحل توفي بعد صراع مع المرض.
وقال نقيب محترفي الموسيقى والغناء بلبنان في تصريح خاص لـ«عكاظ»، إنه رحل عن عالمنا نتيجة أزمة قلبية مفاجئة بعد تدهور حالته الصحية بالفترة الأخيرة، مشيراً إلى أنه يعاني من مشاكل صحية في الكبد منذ فترة ودخل على إثرها إلى أحد المستشفيات الكبرى ببيروت.
وأوضح فريد بو سعيد أن الراحل تلقى العديد من العلاجات لكي يتخطى تلك الأزمة الصحية إلا أن قضاء الله حان وتوفي بمنزله الخاص في لبنان.
وأضاف فريد بو سعيد أن الراحل ابتعد في السنوات الأخيرة عن الظهور في الإعلام أو المناسبات أو التواجد أيضاً بأعمال جديدة له، لافتًا إلى أن الأسرة لم تستقر على موعد الجنازة حتى الآن.
ويُعد زياد الرحباني، نجل الأسطورة فيروز والموسيقار الراحل عاصي الرحباني، ونشأ في بيئة فنية متميزة سرعان ما انطلق منها ليؤسس أسلوبه الخاص الذي يمزج بين العمق الفني، والفكاهة السوداء، والنقد السياسي الجريء، حتى أصبح واحدا من أبرز الفنانين المجددين في الموسيقى العربية والمسرح السياسي الساخر.
Fried Bou Said, the head of the Professional Musicians and Singers Syndicate in Lebanon, revealed details about the last days in the life of the Lebanese artist and musician Ziad Rahbani, who passed away this morning at the age of 69, confirming that the deceased died after a battle with illness.
In a special statement to “Okaz,” the head of the Professional Musicians and Singers Syndicate in Lebanon said that he left this world due to a sudden heart attack after his health deteriorated in recent times, noting that he had been suffering from liver health issues for a while and had been admitted to one of the major hospitals in Beirut as a result.
Fried Bou Said explained that the deceased received numerous treatments to overcome this health crisis, but fate had its way, and he passed away in his private home in Lebanon.
He added that the deceased had distanced himself in recent years from media appearances, events, or even from having new works, pointing out that the family has not yet settled on a date for the funeral.
Ziad Rahbani is considered the son of the legend Fairuz and the late musician Assi Rahbani. He grew up in a distinguished artistic environment from which he quickly launched to establish his own style that blends artistic depth, dark humor, and bold political critique, making him one of the most prominent innovative artists in Arabic music and satirical political theater.
