أعلن مركز الملك عبدالعزيز الثقافي العالمي «إثراء»، فتح باب التقديم في النسخة السابعة من جائزة إثراء للفنون، التي تهدف منذ أن أطلقها المركز في عام 2017، إلى دعم الفن المعاصر في العالم العربي، وتوفر منصة حيوية للفنانين المشاركين، فيما تمنح جائزة بقيمة 100 ألف دولار (375 ألف ريال سعودي) للعمل الفني الفائز، كما سيُضاف إلى المجموعة الدائمة لمركز إثراء، وذلك من منطلق رسالة المركز بوصفه وجهة ثقافية تقدم تجارب استثنائية لجمهور متنوع وتعزز من التبادل الفني والإبداعي.
وتشهد جائزة إثراء للفنون هذا العام توسعاً نوعياً، إذ سترشح لجنة التحكيم خمسة فنانين ليحصلوا على منح مالية لإنتاج وعرض أعمالهم ضمن معرض سيقام في مركز إثراء أبريل 2026، إذ يشكّل المعرض فرصة حيوية مميزة لترسيخ هدف الجائزة، الذي يدعو إلى حراك ثقافي لافت بالمنطقة، وتعزز الجائزة من الإرث الفني للفنانين المشاركين، بما يثري المشهد الفني ويفتح باب الحوار حول الفن المعاصر في العالم العربي، وسيُخْتَار الفائز النهائي في المعرض.
وتستقبل الجائزة هذا العام كلاً من الأعمال الجديدة والمُعاد تقديمها حتى 16 أكتوبر القادم، فيما تُمنح الجائزة للفنانين الذين يتسم نهجهم بالعمق الفكري، والارتكاز المفاهيمي، والبحث المتواصل الذي يتراكم بمرور الزمن، ويُشترط أن تعكس الأعمال المقدمة استمرارية الفنان في ممارسته وبحثه، كما تفتح الجائزة أبوابها للفنانين الأفراد والمجموعات الإبداعية، من سن 18 عاماً وما فوق، منهم الفنانون العرب أو المقيمون في الدول العربية.
وبيّنت رئيسة متحف إثراء فرح أبو شليح أن «جائزة إثراء للفنون» تحتفي بالفنانين الذين يخوضون حواراً نقدياً وخيالياً مع قضايا وظروف متجذّرة في واقعنا العربي المتنوّع، لافتة إلى أن النسخة السابعة للجائزة بمثابة عودة إلى الجذور، مع توسيع النطاق من خلال معرض يُقام في «إثراء»، ليعرض أعمالاً متعدّدة تتجاور وتتحاور فيما بينها.

The King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture, "Ithra," has announced the opening of applications for the seventh edition of the Ithra Arts Prize, which has aimed since its launch in 2017 to support contemporary art in the Arab world. It provides a vibrant platform for participating artists, while awarding a prize of $100,000 (375,000 Saudi Riyals) for the winning artwork, which will also be added to the permanent collection of the Ithra Center. This is in line with the center's mission as a cultural destination that offers exceptional experiences to a diverse audience and enhances artistic and creative exchange.
This year, the Ithra Arts Prize will witness a qualitative expansion, as the jury will nominate five artists to receive financial grants for the production and exhibition of their works in an exhibition that will be held at the Ithra Center in April 2026. The exhibition represents a unique opportunity to solidify the prize's goal, which calls for a remarkable cultural movement in the region, and the prize enhances the artistic legacy of the participating artists, enriching the art scene and opening the door for dialogue about contemporary art in the Arab world. The final winner will be selected at the exhibition.
This year, the prize will accept both new and re-presented works until October 16. The prize will be awarded to artists whose approach is characterized by intellectual depth, conceptual grounding, and ongoing research that accumulates over time. The submitted works must reflect the artist's continuity in their practice and research. The prize is open to individual artists and creative groups aged 18 and above, including Arab artists or those residing in Arab countries.
Farah Abu Shlih, the director of the Ithra Museum, stated that the "Ithra Arts Prize" celebrates artists who engage in a critical and imaginative dialogue with issues and circumstances rooted in our diverse Arab reality, noting that the seventh edition of the prize represents a return to the roots, with an expanded scope through an exhibition held at "Ithra," showcasing multiple works that interact and converse with each other.
