كشفت الفنانة المصرية رانيا محمود ياسين، حقيقة انفعالها على والدتها الفنانة المصرية شهيرة خلال افتتاح المهرجان القومي للمسرح، مؤكدة أن مقطع الفيديو تم تحريفه بشكل مبالغ فيه من أجل تصدر «الترند».
وأوضحت رانيا، في منشور عبر حسابها الرسمي على «إنستغرام»، أنها لم تنفعل على والدتها كما يُشاع، بل تحدثت باندفاع معها خوفًا عليها من الزحام الكبير داخل المهرجان، معلقة: «كنت بدور على أمي ومش لاقياها، ولما لاقيتها من فرحتي وخوفي قالوا إني انفعلت عليها!».
وأعربت رانيا عن استيائها من الصفحات التي تقوم بتعديل مقاطع الفيديو وصفتهم بـ«صناع التريندات الرخيصة»، الذين يتصيدون الفنانين ويحولون أي موقف بسيط إلى مادة للسخرية والتشويه، قائلة: «الناس بقوا طاقة غضب وكره، وصفحات صفراء بتتاجر بأبسط تصرفاتنا».
كما تحدثت رانيا عن تعرض زوجها الفنان محمد رياض، الذي يشغل منصب رئيس المهرجان القومي للمسرح، لأزمة صحية في حفل الافتتاح، عاني من ارتفاع ملحوظ في درجة الحرارة، لكنه أصر على استكمال مهامه، رغم حالته الصحية.
وبشأن رفضها التصوير مع الجمهور، أكدت رانيا أنها تعرضت لسقوط على السجادة الحمراء نتج عنه التواء في القدم، مضيفة: «رفضت التصوير مش علشان أعمل مشهد، لكن لأني كنت موجوعة ومش قادرة أتحمل»، نافية أن يكون موقفها له علاقة بأي محاولة للفت الأنظار من أجل الترند.

Rania explained in a post on her official Instagram account that she did not react angrily towards her mother as rumored, but rather spoke passionately with her out of concern for her due to the large crowd at the festival, commenting: "I was looking for my mom and couldn't find her, and when I found her, out of joy and fear, they said I reacted angrily towards her!"
Rania expressed her dissatisfaction with the pages that edit video clips, describing them as "producers of cheap trends," who target artists and turn any simple situation into material for mockery and distortion, saying: "People have become a source of anger and hatred, and yellow pages are exploiting our simplest actions."
She also talked about her husband, the artist Mohamed Riyad, who holds the position of president of the National Theater Festival, experiencing a health crisis during the opening ceremony, suffering from a noticeable rise in temperature, but insisted on continuing his duties despite his health condition.
Regarding her refusal to take pictures with the audience, Rania confirmed that she had fallen on the red carpet, resulting in a sprained ankle, adding: "I refused to take pictures not to create a scene, but because I was in pain and couldn't bear it," denying that her stance had anything to do with any attempt to attract attention for the trend.
