أعربت الفنانة المصرية منة شلبي، عن بالغ استيائها من الشائعة المتداولة حول وفاة والدتها الفنانة المصرية المعتزلة زيزي مصطفى، مؤكدة أن الأخيرة تتمتع بصحة جيدة وتمارس حياتها الطبيعية في منزلها.
وعبر صحيفة «عكاظ»، طمأنت منة شلبي الجمهور عن والدتها، مؤكدة أنها تتمتع بحالة صحية جيدة وتخضع لتحاليل طبية كل شهر للاطمئنان على حالتها الصحية وتمارس حياتها الطبيعية في منزلها.
وأوضحت منة شلبي أنها تفاجأت بتلك الشائعة متداولة بشكل كبير على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي المختلفة، إضافة إلى تلقيها مكالمات عدة من المقربين وزملائها بالوسط الفني، لافتة أنها متواجدة في إسبانيا تقضى عطّلتها الصيفية.
وكشفت منة شلبي استياءها من خروج تلك الشائعات بين الحين والآخر حول حياتها الشخصية وأسرتها، قائلة: «كفاية شائعات واللي بيحصل عيب وغلط كبير».
ومن جانبها، نفت نقابة المهن التمثيلية في مصر برئاسة الدكتور أشرف زكي، من خلال بيان رسمي وفاة الفنانة زيزي مصطفى والدة الفنانة منة شلبي بعد خرج الفنان المصري جمال عبدالناصر ليعلن وفاتها دون تحري الدقة، الأمر الذي تم تداوله بشكل سريع على جميع منصات التواصل الاجتماعي خلال الساعات الماضية.
وكان الفنان جمال عبدالناصر اعتذر عن نشره خبر والدة وفاة الفنانة منة شلبي، وكتب منشوراً عبر حسابه الشخصي بمنصة «فيسبوك»، وقال: «اعتذر عن الخبر، إذا لم يكن صحيحاً وتمنياتنا بالشفاء العاجل للفنانة زيزي مصطفى».

Menna Shalaby revealed her frustration with the emergence of such rumors from time to time regarding her personal life and family, saying: "Enough with the rumors; what is happening is a shame and a big mistake."
For its part, the Actors' Syndicate in Egypt, headed by Dr. Ashraf Zaki, officially denied the death of artist Zizi Mustafa, the mother of artist Menna Shalaby, after the Egyptian artist Jamal Abdel Nasser announced her death without verifying the accuracy, a matter that was quickly circulated on all social media platforms in recent hours.
Artist Jamal Abdel Nasser apologized for publishing the news about the death of Menna Shalaby's mother, posting on his personal account on the "Facebook" platform, saying: "I apologize for the news, if it is not true, and we wish a speedy recovery for artist Zizi Mustafa."
