أكد عبدالله نجل الفنان السعودي الراحل طلال مداح، بأن القناة الرسمية لأعمال والده عبر منصة «يوتيوب»، أُغلقت بعد تعرضها للاختراق، كما أن المخترق رفض محاولات التفاوض والمساومة لاستعادتها.
وأشار إلى أن إدارة «يوتيوب» لم تُبدِ أي تعاون مع أسرة الراحل لاسترجاع القناة، رغم ملكيتهم الكاملة للمحتوى، وبذلك لا تتوافر للراحل الفنان الشهير طلال مداح أي قناة عبر المنصة الشهيرة «يوتيوب».
ولفت نجل الراحل إلى أن أرشيف والده يزخر بنحو 1700 أغنية ذات جودة تسجيل عالية، موضحاً أن العمل جارٍ حالياً على أرشفتها وتحديث المحتوى في منصة «ساوندكلاود» (منصة متخصصة بالموسيقى) بعد التوقف عن استخدام «يوتيوب».
Abdullah, the son of the late Saudi artist Talal Maddah, confirmed that his father's official channel on the "YouTube" platform was closed after being hacked, and that the hacker refused attempts at negotiation and compromise to recover it.
He pointed out that "YouTube" management did not show any cooperation with the family of the deceased to retrieve the channel, despite their full ownership of the content, and thus the late famous artist Talal Maddah has no channel on the popular platform "YouTube".
The late artist's son noted that his father's archive is rich with about 1,700 high-quality recorded songs, explaining that work is currently underway to archive them and update the content on the "SoundCloud" platform (a platform specialized in music) after ceasing to use "YouTube".
