طلب الفنان القدير لطفي لبيب عبر «عكاظ» من جمهوره الدعاء له، بعد تعرضه لوعكة صحية شديدة نُقل على إثرها إلى «العناية المركزة» بأحد المستشفيات الكبرى في القاهرة، مؤكداً أن حالته «صعبة».
وفي تصريح مقتضب خصّ به «عكاظ» من داخل المستشفى، قال لبيب: «حالتي الصحية متدهورة، ولا أستطيع التحدث كثيراً.. أرجو من الجميع الدعاء لي». وكشف أنه خضع لعملية منظار وعدد من الفحوصات الطبية خلال الأيام الماضية، قبل أن تتدهور حالته بشكل مفاجئ وتستلزم نقله للمستشفى.
ويخضع لبيب حالياً لمتابعة طبية دقيقة داخل وحدة العناية المركزة، فيما أكّد رئيس المركز الكاثوليكي للسينما في مصر بطرس دانيال، في حديث لـ«عكاظ» أنه تواصل مع أسرة الفنان، التي أوضحت أن حالته مستقرة نسبياً، لكن الزيارة ممنوعة عنه بناء على توصية الفريق الطبي.
وكان لبيب قد أعلن اعتزاله التمثيل في وقت سابق بسبب ظروفه الصحية، وكشف عن إصابته بورم في الحنجرة أثّر على صوته، ما دفعه لاتخاذ قرار الابتعاد نهائياً عن الفن.
ويُعد الفنان لطفي لبيب أحد أبرز نجوم الكوميديا في مصر، وشارك في عشرات الأعمال السينمائية والمسرحية والتلفزيونية، وكان آخر ظهور له في فيلم «مرعى البريمو» 2023، إلى جانب محمد هنيدي وغادة عادل وأحمد بدير، من تأليف إيهاب بليبل وإخراج سعيد حامد.
The esteemed artist Lotfy Labib requested through "Okaz" that his audience pray for him after he suffered a severe health setback that led to his transfer to the "intensive care unit" of a major hospital in Cairo, confirming that his condition is "difficult."
In a brief statement he gave to "Okaz" from inside the hospital, Labib said: "My health condition is deteriorating, and I cannot speak much... I ask everyone to pray for me." He revealed that he underwent an endoscopy and several medical tests in the past few days before his condition suddenly worsened, necessitating his transfer to the hospital.
Labib is currently under close medical supervision in the intensive care unit, while the head of the Catholic Center for Cinema in Egypt, Botros Daniel, confirmed in a conversation with "Okaz" that he has been in contact with the artist's family, who clarified that his condition is relatively stable, but visits are prohibited based on the medical team's recommendation.
Labib had previously announced his retirement from acting due to his health conditions, revealing that he was diagnosed with a tumor in his larynx that affected his voice, which prompted him to make the decision to permanently distance himself from the arts.
Lotfy Labib is considered one of the most prominent comedy stars in Egypt, having participated in dozens of cinematic, theatrical, and television works. His last appearance was in the film "Marai Al-Primmo" in 2023, alongside Mohamed Henedy, Ghada Adel, and Ahmed Badir, written by Ihab Belibl and directed by Said Hamid.
