رفض الفنان السوري أيمن زيدان الإجابة عن إمكانية اشتراكه مجدداً في عمل فني مع طليقته ومواطنته وزميلته المعتزلة نورمان أسعد.
وقال في تصريح صحفي على السجادة الحمراء الخاصة بالنسخة الثامنة من «مهرجان الزمن الجميل»، هذه حالة افتراضية، بل فانتازيا.
ورأى زيدان بأن تكريمه في المهرجان له طعم مختلف، موضحاً: «لأنه عن الزمن الجميل من بلد جميل».
ونفى الممثل الكبير ابتعاده عمداً عن شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي في الآونة الأخيرة، مؤكّداً أن الأمر ليس أكثر من تقصير بسبب مشاغله.
وواصل زيدان رفضه الإجابة عن بعض الأسئلة، على غرار سؤاله عن نقابة الفنانين السوريين التي أثارت بلبلة واسعة بعد تعيين نقيبها من دون انتخاب، ثم محاولة الانقلاب عليه بسبب قرارات «تعسفية وفردية»، وفق وصف معارضيه.
وتشهد هذه الدورة من المهرجان تكريم نخبة من الأسماء العربية اللامعة، منهم نادية الجندي وعايدة رياض وشيرين والمنتج محمد مختار من مصر، وأيمن زيدان من سورية، ورجا بدر وليليان أندراوس وزاهي وهبي من لبنان، مع حلول المطرب غسان صليبا ضيف شرف على المهرجان.
The Syrian artist Ayman Zidan refused to answer the question of whether he would collaborate again with his ex-wife, fellow citizen, and colleague, the retired Norman Asaad.
He stated in a press statement on the red carpet of the eighth edition of the "Festival of Beautiful Time," that this is a hypothetical situation, rather a fantasy.
Zidan noted that being honored at the festival has a different flavor, explaining: "Because it is about the beautiful time from a beautiful country."
The prominent actor denied deliberately distancing himself from social media recently, confirming that it is nothing more than a shortcoming due to his busy schedule.
Zidan continued to refuse to answer some questions, such as inquiries about the Syrian Artists Syndicate, which has caused widespread turmoil after its head was appointed without elections, followed by an attempted coup against him due to "arbitrary and individual decisions," according to his opponents.
This edition of the festival witnesses the honoring of a select group of shining Arab names, including Nadia El Gendy, Aida Riyad, Sherine, and producer Mohamed Mokhtar from Egypt, as well as Ayman Zidan from Syria, Raga Badr, Liliane Andraous, and Zahi Wahbi from Lebanon, with the singer Ghassan Saliba as the guest of honor at the festival.
