يحتفل مغني الراب الأمريكي سنوب دوغ وزوجته شانتي برودوس، بمرور 28 عاماً على ارتباطهما.
واحتفل الثنائي بذكرى زواجهما وشارك سنوب صورة لهما على السجادة الحمراء عبر حسابه في إنستغرام، مع تعليق بسيط وقلوب زرقاء، مشيراً إلى حساب زوجته.
بدورها، نشرت شانتي مجموعة صور على إنستغرام، بينها صورة قديمة من بداية علاقتهما، وعلّقت: «ذكرى سعيدة @snoopdogg شكرًا لك على كل شيء #28».
التقى سنوب وشانتي في سن المراهقة أثناء دراستهما في مدرسة لونغ بيتش بوليتكنيك الثانوية في كاليفورنيا، وذهبا معا إلى حفل التخرج عام 1989. ثم تزوجا في يونيو 1997 بفندق ريتز كارلتون في مارينا ديل راي. ورغم انفصالهما المؤقت عام 2004، جدد الزوجان عهودهما في 2008.
لديهما ثلاثة أطفال هم كوردي، كورديل، وكوري، إضافة إلى ابن سنوب جوليان من علاقة سابقة. وأصبحا اليوم جدين.
وفي مقابلة مع مجلة بيبول وصف سنوب زوجته بأنها «تفهمه جيداً» و«أم رائعة، وجدة محبة، وزوجة وصديقة مثالية».
وأشار إلى دعمها وصبرها وفهمها له، وكيف منحت له المساحة ليكون على طبيعته، قائلًا: «تعرف كيف تضغط على أزراري لأبدو أحيانًا أحمقَ وأحيانًا رائعًا، وهذا ما أحبّه».
The American rapper Snoop Dogg and his wife Shante Broadus are celebrating 28 years of their relationship.
The couple celebrated their wedding anniversary, and Snoop shared a picture of them on the red carpet via his Instagram account, with a simple caption and blue hearts, tagging his wife's account.
For her part, Shante posted a collection of photos on Instagram, including an old picture from the beginning of their relationship, and commented: "Happy anniversary @snoopdogg thank you for everything #28."
Snoop and Shante met as teenagers while studying at Long Beach Polytechnic High School in California, and they attended the graduation ceremony together in 1989. They then married in June 1997 at the Ritz Carlton in Marina del Rey. Despite their temporary separation in 2004, the couple renewed their vows in 2008.
They have three children: Cordé, Cordell, and Cori, in addition to Snoop's son Julian from a previous relationship. They are now grandparents.
In an interview with People magazine, Snoop described his wife as someone who "understands him well" and as "a wonderful mother, a loving grandmother, and an ideal wife and friend."
He noted her support, patience, and understanding of him, and how she has given him the space to be himself, saying: "She knows how to push my buttons to make me look sometimes foolish and sometimes great, and that’s what I love."
