أكد أمير المنطقة الشرقية الأمير سعود بن نايف بن عبدالعزيز أن محافظة القطيف تحظى باهتمام كبير من القيادة الرشيدة وهي تمتلك مقومات صناعية وخدمية وزراعية، وإمكانيات استثمارية متنوعة تُسهم في تعزيز بيئة الأعمال في المملكة والمنطقة بشكل خاص، مشيراً إلى أهمية مواصلة تطوير المشاريع التنموية بالمحافظة، واستثمار مواردها الطبيعية بما يعزز مساهمتها في دعم الاقتصاد الوطني وتحقيق مستهدفات التنمية المستدامة.
جاء ذلك خلال رعايته، بحضور نائب أمير المنطقة الشرقية الأمير سعود بن بندر بن عبدالعزيز، بمحافظة القطيف اليوم (الأربعاء)، منتدى القطيف الاستثماري 2025 الذي نظمته غرفة الشرقية ممثلةً بمجلس أعمال القطيف، وسط حضور كبير من المسؤولين وقطاع الأعمال والمتخصصين في المجالات الاقتصادية المختلفة.
تحولات اقتصادية متسارعة
وأضاف: يأتي المنتدى بالتزامن مع التحولات الاقتصادية المتسارعة التي تشهدها المملكة في ظل رؤية السعودية 2030، والتي ركزت على تنويع مصادر الدخل وتعزيز دور القطاع الخاص في التنمية، ومحافظة القطيف تمتلك المقومات التي تؤهلها لتكون وجهة استثمارية واعدة في مختلف القطاعات، خصوصاً الصناعية والخدمية والسياحية والزراعية. وما نشهده اليوم من حراك تنموي واستثماري في المنطقة الشرقية يجسد الدعم اللامحدود من القيادة الرشيدة ويعكس الثقة الكبيرة في قدرات أبناء الوطن، وحرصهم على الإسهام في تحقيق التنمية الشاملة والمستدامة، مشيراً إلى أن منتدى القطيف يمثل منصة محفزة لاستعراض الفرص الاستثمارية الواعدة وتعزيز الشراكة بين القطاعين العام والخاص.
من جهته، ثمّن رئيس مجلس إدارة غرفة الشرقية بدر بن سليمان الرزيزاء رعاية أمير المنطقة الشرقية للمنتدى وحضور نائبه، مشيراً إلى أن دعمه يعكس اهتمام القيادة بمسيرة التنمية الاقتصادية في المنطقة، لافتاً إلى أهمية هذه الرعاية في تعزيز التواصل لدعم المسيرة الاقتصادية في المحافظة، مما يسهم في تطوير المشاريع التنموية.
خارطة استثمارية متنوعة
وبين الرزيزاء أن المنتدى استعرض خلال جلساته ما تتميز به القطيف من خارطة استثمارية متنوعة مهيأة لأن تكون بيئة غنية بالفرص أمام القطاع الخاص بمختلف أنشطته، سواء في المجالات التجارية أو الصناعية أو الخدمية أو اللوجستية أو الزراعية، مشيراً إلى أن المنتدى يأتي استمرارًا لجهود غرفة الشرقية في دعم وتطوير النشاط الاقتصادي والتنموي، وتعزيز دور القطاع الخاص، والعمل كمنصة فاعلة للإسهام في صياغة مستقبل التنمية الاقتصادية في المنطقة الشرقية.
وأوضح رئيس مجلس أعمال غرفة الشرقية بمحافظة القطيف المهندس حسين بن أحمد المقرن أن المنتدى ناقش العديد من الرؤى والأفكار التي من شأنها تعزيز الميزة الاستثمارية في المحافظة، مشيراً إلى مشاركة 21 متحدثاً استعرضوا عدداً من الفرص والتحديات التي تواجه الاستثمار في المحافظة، إضافةً إلى استعراض بعض التجارب والمشاريع الناجحة، لافتاً إلى أن محافظة القطيف تتمتع بفرص استثمارية في عدة قطاعات مثل السياحة والزراعة، مما يفتح المجال لتنوع الاستثمارات.
وكرم أمير المنطقة الشرقية رعاة المنتدى والمتحدثين ورؤساء الجلسات وورش العمل، كما شهد توقيع اتفاقية تعاون مشتركة بين غرفة الشرقية وأمانة المنطقة الشرقية.
The Prince of the Eastern Province, Prince Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, confirmed that the Qatif Governorate receives significant attention from the wise leadership and possesses industrial, service, and agricultural components, along with diverse investment opportunities that contribute to enhancing the business environment in the Kingdom and the region in particular. He emphasized the importance of continuing to develop developmental projects in the governorate and investing its natural resources to enhance its contribution to supporting the national economy and achieving sustainable development goals.
This came during his sponsorship, in the presence of the Deputy Prince of the Eastern Province, Prince Saud bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, at the Qatif Investment Forum 2025 organized by the Eastern Chamber, represented by the Qatif Business Council, amidst a large attendance of officials, business sector representatives, and specialists in various economic fields.
Accelerated Economic Transformations
He added: The forum comes in conjunction with the accelerated economic transformations that the Kingdom is witnessing under Saudi Vision 2030, which focuses on diversifying sources of income and enhancing the role of the private sector in development. The Qatif Governorate has the components that qualify it to be a promising investment destination in various sectors, especially industrial, service, tourism, and agricultural. What we are witnessing today in terms of developmental and investment activity in the Eastern Province embodies the unlimited support from the wise leadership and reflects the great confidence in the capabilities of the nation's sons and their eagerness to contribute to achieving comprehensive and sustainable development. He pointed out that the Qatif Forum represents an encouraging platform to showcase promising investment opportunities and enhance partnership between the public and private sectors.
For his part, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Eastern Chamber, Badr bin Suleiman Al-Raziza, appreciated the sponsorship of the Prince of the Eastern Province for the forum and the presence of his deputy, noting that his support reflects the leadership's interest in the economic development journey in the region. He highlighted the importance of this sponsorship in enhancing communication to support the economic journey in the governorate, which contributes to the development of developmental projects.
Diverse Investment Map
Al-Raziza indicated that the forum showcased what Qatif is distinguished by in terms of a diverse investment map prepared to be a rich environment full of opportunities for the private sector in various activities, whether in commercial, industrial, service, logistical, or agricultural fields. He pointed out that the forum continues the efforts of the Eastern Chamber in supporting and developing economic and developmental activities, enhancing the role of the private sector, and acting as an effective platform to contribute to shaping the future of economic development in the Eastern Province.
The Chairman of the Qatif Business Council, Engineer Hussein bin Ahmed Al-Muqrin, explained that the forum discussed many visions and ideas that would enhance the investment advantage in the governorate, noting the participation of 21 speakers who presented several opportunities and challenges facing investment in the governorate, in addition to showcasing some successful experiences and projects. He pointed out that the Qatif Governorate enjoys investment opportunities in several sectors such as tourism and agriculture, which opens the door for diverse investments.
The Prince of the Eastern Province honored the sponsors of the forum, the speakers, and the heads of the sessions and workshops, and witnessed the signing of a joint cooperation agreement between the Eastern Chamber and the Eastern Province Municipality.
