Turn your coffee cup upside down and scatter your sadness in the streets,
and let my hand wave in the air for your shadow as you dream of me
while I reopen your wound with the kisses I scatter on your bed
in the belly of a bird that cannot reach you; I sent my heart to tell you how you break and shatter with your hands/ and I stitched the shirt of my confusion just to wave to you with the coffee that spilled from my hand, oh my mistress that the birds have stolen, and my river that has settled in its murmurs/ how can I hide your braids near the tree where I found you? And steal the roses from your boats that pass through my dreams? / While you chase the deer in the valleys of my pillow? And rush to the river whose murmurs have settled/ where I see the grass clinging to your feet, oh my angel who waves to me with the teeth that grip what remains of my confusion/ every time the void expands, my defeats shatter on your chest as you mock me/ I let the grass creep over your legs and I chase the thieves who tried to steal your braids that you hung on the line of your innocence/ and where your careless hair scatters in the air, I see the sky approaching your lips and I dream of touching it, oh my confusion that has expanded so much and I look at it/ as if you are the jewel I dream of possessing, as if you are the scarecrow that hurls precious stones at me/ here I am dragging the nonsense from its hair and leaving it in the stable of your ingratitude/ I admire your dress as it flutters in the air/ let me distribute my cigarettes to the passersby so they can close their rude eyes/ so they do not see the grapes falling from your femininity/ I alone carry it to your boats that dock behind my windows that have shattered from the sparkle of your eyes as they play with my confusion that has been eaten by rust!
How did you invade my heart and shatter its windows overlooking the longing that separates me from you/ and steal my poems then scatter them on the grass where I found you? Look at my kisses how they have stiffened on the glass of your hands as they wave to me? Oh my pleasure that the birds have stolen/ look at the dew falling from their beaks as they fly in the orchards of my longing? Oh my dreams that I hid under my blanket and came to guard your femininity that you have squandered/ look at me how I shatter the glass that separates me from you? / How did you engrave your name on my lips and become my seduction? Come, let us scatter sadness in the nearby fields and celebrate the purple as it evaporates from your femininity, then we steal it shamelessly and carry it to your boats that dock behind my windows that have drowned in your eyes as they steal my poems and scatter them on the grass.
