برعاية وزير الثقافة رئيس مجلس إدارة هيئة التراث الأمير بدر بن عبدالله بن فرحان، تنظّم الهيئة النسخة الثالثة من الأسبوع السعودي الدولي للحرف اليدوية (بنان) خلال الفترة من 13 إلى 26 نوفمبر، في مدينة الرياض، بمشاركة دولية واسعة تضمّ أكثر من 40 دولة، إضافة إلى أكثر من 20 شريكًا، وأكثر من 400 حرفي محلي.
وكشف وزير الثقافة مشاركة سورية في نسخة هذا العام، ويهدف الأسبوع السعودي الدولي للحرف اليدوية (بنان) إلى تسليط الضوء على الحرف اليدوية السعودية والدولية بالتزامن مع عام الحرف اليدوية 2025، إلى جانب دعم وتمكين الحرفيين والحرفيات المحليين في مختلف مجالات الحرف، وتوفير منصة دولية تحتضن إبداعات الحرفيين المحليين والعالميين، وتمكنهم من استثمار مهاراتهم الحرفية المتميزة وتدعم حضورهم في الأسواق.
وتحل جمهورية الصين الشعبية ضيف شرف لهذه النسخة، عبر مشاركة نوعية تستعرض من خلالها نخبة من تجاربها الحرفية المتميزة والإبداعات اليدوية، بما يسهم في تعزيز التبادل الثقافي ويفتح آفاقًا جديدة للتعاون بين البلدين، ويثري المشهد الدولي للمعرض.
ويقدم «بنان 2025» لزواره تجارب حرفية وتقليدية، تشمل التجارب التفاعلية، وأجنحة مخصصة للمنتجات الحرفية المحلية والدولية، وورش عمل متخصصة، ومنطقة الحرفي الصغير للأطفال، إضافة إلى جناح خاص بتفعيل «مبادرة عام الحرف اليدوية 2025»، ومنصات موجهة لرواد الأعمال والمؤسسات والجمعيات الحرفية، إضافة إلى تسليط الضوء على مبادرة بيت الحرفيين التي أطلقتها هيئة التراث لدعم وتمكين الحرفيين في مختلف مناطق المملكة.
ويأتي تنظيم هذا الحدث الدولي بعد النجاحات التي حققتها النسختان السابقتان، حيث شهدتا إقبالًا واسعًا تجاوز 200 ألف زائر، فيما بلغت المبيعات أكثر من 2.5 مليون ريال في نسخة عام 2024، إلى جانب التوسع الملحوظ في المشاركة الدولية من 12 دولة في النسخة الأولى إلى 25 دولة في النسخة الثانية، بما يعكس التطور المستمر للمعرض وتحوله إلى منصة رائدة للحرف اليدوية على المستوى العالمي.
ويعكس «الأسبوع السعودي الدولي للحرف اليدوية – بنان» التزام هيئة التراث المستمر بتعزيز مكانة الحرف اليدوية بصفتها جزءًا أصيلًا من الهوية الوطنية، ويدعم سعيها نحو تحقيق مستهدفات رؤية السعودية 2030 في تنمية القطاع الثقافي وتمكينه محليًا ودوليًا، بما يسهم في تعزيز ناتجه الإجمالي من الاقتصاد المحلي، وتوفير فرص أوسع للحرفيين والحرفيات في المملكة والعالم.
وتوجت النجاحات التي حققها الأسبوع السعودي الدولي للحرف اليدوية (بنان) بفوزه بأربع جوائز محلية وعالمية، حيث فاز بجائزة تميز المعارض في جائزة القصيم في دورتها للعام 2024، كما فاز بجائزة باريس العالمية للتصميم 2024، وجائزة آي إف الدولية للتصميم من خلال قرية فنون الحرف اليدوية في معرض بنان، وفاز هذا العام بجائزة Better Future -London العالمية للتصميم 2025.
Under the patronage of the Minister of Culture and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Heritage Authority, Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan, the authority is organizing the third edition of the Saudi International Week for Handicrafts (Banan) from November 13 to 26 in Riyadh, with wide international participation including more than 40 countries, in addition to over 20 partners and more than 400 local artisans.
The Minister of Culture revealed Syria's participation in this year's edition, and the Saudi International Week for Handicrafts (Banan) aims to highlight Saudi and international handicrafts in conjunction with the Year of Handicrafts 2025, as well as to support and empower local artisans in various craft fields, providing an international platform that showcases the creativity of local and global artisans, enabling them to capitalize on their exceptional craft skills and support their presence in the markets.
The People's Republic of China will be the guest of honor for this edition, with a qualitative participation showcasing a selection of its distinguished craft experiences and handmade creations, contributing to enhancing cultural exchange and opening new horizons for cooperation between the two countries, enriching the international exhibition scene.
Banan 2025 offers its visitors traditional and craft experiences, including interactive experiences, dedicated pavilions for local and international craft products, specialized workshops, a small artisan area for children, in addition to a special pavilion for activating the "Year of Handicrafts 2025" initiative, and platforms aimed at entrepreneurs, institutions, and craft associations, as well as highlighting the Artisan House initiative launched by the Heritage Authority to support and empower artisans in various regions of the Kingdom.
This international event is organized following the successes achieved by the previous two editions, which witnessed a wide turnout exceeding 200,000 visitors, while sales reached more than 2.5 million riyals in the 2024 edition, alongside the noticeable expansion in international participation from 12 countries in the first edition to 25 countries in the second edition, reflecting the continuous development of the exhibition and its transformation into a leading platform for handicrafts on a global level.
The "Saudi International Week for Handicrafts – Banan" reflects the Heritage Authority's ongoing commitment to enhancing the status of handicrafts as an integral part of national identity, supporting its efforts to achieve the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 in developing the cultural sector and empowering it locally and internationally, contributing to enhancing its gross output from the local economy, and providing broader opportunities for artisans in the Kingdom and the world.
The successes achieved by the Saudi International Week for Handicrafts (Banan) culminated in winning four local and international awards, including the Exhibition Excellence Award at the Qassim Award for its 2024 edition, as well as winning the Paris International Design Award 2024, the iF International Design Award through the Handicrafts Arts Village at the Banan exhibition, and this year it won the Better Future - London International Design Award 2025.
