أكد وزير الثقافة العراقي الدكتور أحمد فكاك البدراني، أن تفاصيل مهرجان بغداد السينمائي في دورته الثانية صنعتها إرادة الفنانين، مشيراً إلى أن السينما ولدت مرة ثانية من رحم هذا المهرجان ومبادرة دعم السينما.
ذاكرة الشعوب
وأشار البدراني إلى اهتمام رئيس الوزراء بالسينما والثقافة وقطاعات الحياة كافة، موضحاً أن السينما تمثل ذاكرة الشعوب، تنقل تاريخها بالصورة والصوت والحركة، وتجسد الأحداث الماضية لتتيح للجيل الحاضر عِيش اللحظة أو الاستفادة من تجاربها المستقبلية.
وأضاف أن هذا الفن الراقي ينبع من أفكار مبدعة تتوقد دائماً، وأن تكريم رئيس الوزراء للسينما أعاد الحياة للفن، وهو ما انعكس بشكل واضح على الشباب، إذ ظهرت سينما شبابية في بغداد ومحافظات العراق، قدم من خلالها السينمائيون الشباب أفلاماً تعكس معاناة العراق في مواجهة الإرهاب.
بدء الفعاليات
ومن جانبه، أعلن مدير المهرجان د. حكمت البيضاني، بدء الفعاليات، منطلقاً من تكريم رائدات السينما العراقية: خيرية المنصور، وزهرة الربيعي، وهناء محمد، وفاطمة الربيعي، وعواطف نعيم، وسوسن شكري، ود. سها سالم، وهند كامل، ود. شذى سالم، ود. ليلى محمد، وآسيا كمال، وأميرة جواد، وعواطف السلمان، ونسرين عبدالرحمن، وأثمار خضر، ورجاء كاظم. واختتم حفل افتتاح مهرجان بغداد السينمائي بعرض فيلم «سعيد أفندي»، وستتواصل الفعاليات حتى الأحد 21 سبتمبر الجاري.
Iraqi Minister of Culture Dr. Ahmed Fakkak Al-Badrani confirmed that the details of the Baghdad International Film Festival in its second edition were shaped by the will of the artists, pointing out that cinema was born again from the womb of this festival and the initiative to support cinema.
Memory of Nations
Al-Badrani noted the Prime Minister's interest in cinema, culture, and all sectors of life, explaining that cinema represents the memory of nations, conveying their history through image, sound, and movement, and embodying past events to allow the present generation to live the moment or benefit from its future experiences.
He added that this noble art springs from always-bright creative ideas, and that the Prime Minister's honoring of cinema has revived the art, which has clearly reflected on the youth, as a youth cinema has emerged in Baghdad and the provinces of Iraq, through which young filmmakers presented films that reflect Iraq's suffering in the face of terrorism.
Start of Activities
For his part, the festival director Dr. Hikmat Al-Baydani announced the start of the activities, beginning with the honoring of the pioneers of Iraqi cinema: Khairiya Al-Mansour, Zahra Al-Rubaie, Hanaa Mohammed, Fatima Al-Rubaie, Awatif Naeem, Susan Shukri, Dr. Suha Salem, Hind Kamel, Dr. Shatha Salem, Dr. Leila Mohammed, Asia Kamal, Amira Jawad, Awatif Al-Salman, Nasreen Abdul Rahman, Athmar Khadr, and Raja Kazem. The opening ceremony of the Baghdad International Film Festival concluded with a screening of the film "Saeed Effendi," and the activities will continue until Sunday, September 21st.
