«أنا من ضيّع في الإعلام عمره».. بهذه العبارة، التي كان يرددها بصدق أقرب إلى الاعتراف، رسم الزميل الصحفي سعود عبدالعزيز العتيبي، ملامح سيرته، وكأنما يلخّص بها حياة نذرها للصحافة بكل ما فيها من شغفٍ وتعبٍ ومكابدةٍ.
برحيله، تطوي الساحة الإعلامية صفحةَ اسمٍ ظلَّ حاضراً في وجدان زملائه وقرّائه، تاركاً أثراً مهنياً وأدبياً يفيض وفاءً وإخلاصاً للمهنة.
