Riyadh - The Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming and Drones (SFCPD) announced today that it will hold Cyber Saber Hackathon Competition 2018 on November 6-7 in Riyadh city.

With the participation of more than 100 male and female students from the Kingdom's various universities so as to increase the number of Saudi professionals in the field of Cybersecurity.

The competition will be held in cooperation with VirtuPort and STC Business as a continuation of efforts to support the skills of the homeland's citizens and embrace them to achieve the Kingdom's Vision 2030 in order to provide an environment suitable for young people in all technical fields.

SFCPD CEO Nouf bint Abdullah Al-Rakan said in press statement that this partnership comes within the framework of the Federation's supporting and quest to discover and promote the talents and capabilities of Saudi youth and to empower young people to become professional in the field of cybersecurity in accordance with the best international standards.
