Makkah- The General President for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques, Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais pointed out that the plan of the General Presidency for the Grand Holy Mosque and the Prophet's Holy Mosque for the Hajj season of 1439H which will continue until the end of Dhu-AlHijjah, focuses on a number of aspects including services, administrative, human, guiding, engineering, technical, media and technological support, in addition to that the presidency is working on interpreting Friday sermons in the Two Holy Mosques into 10 languages as well as the sign language for the great message of this religion.



He said that as for the service support, all the doors and stairs were constructed for this year's Hajj season including 210 gates in the Grand Holy Mosque, 100 in the Prophet's Holy Mosque, 28 electrical stairs in the Holy Grand Mosque, 4 in the Prophet's Mosque, 38 entrances for people with special needs, 7 entrances for women, 7 bridges and roads, one entrance for funerals, in the area of Well of Zamzam, there are 660 water fountains to drink in the Grand Holy Mosque and 60 in the Prophet's Holy Mosque, 25000 water jugs in the Grand Holy Mosque and 23000 in Prophet's Holy Mosque, 352 stainless steel tanks, 10,000 ordinary wheelchairs and 700 electric wheelchairs.



On the engineering and technical support, Dr. Al-Sudais stressed the readiness of technical and engineering services and the competent departments to operate and maintain all technical devices and systems of lighting, air conditioning, ventilation, sound and control systems, cameras, communication equipment and escalators.



On utility services such as air conditioning systems, a whole slew of fans and Umbrellas have been provided in all phases of expansions along with their down - upstairs, grounds and yards in addition to big number of water closets, he said.
