Mina- 500 male and female doctors in the health field from various cities and regions of the Kingdom have volunteered under the supervision of a group of consultants and health specialists to participate in the voluntary health program in 1439H, being organized by the World Assembly of Muslim Youth for the 12th consecutive year in cooperation with the Society of Dirham Wiqayih in Makkah and the field partnership with the General Directorate of Civil Defense, Makkah Health Department and the medical partnership with King Abdullah Medical City in Makkah.
The doctors provide field health services for pilgrims in the holy sites and treat people suffering from sunstroke, heat, and emergency situations such as fainting, fatigue and diabetic foot injuries, which is one of the most prominent health problems being suffered by pilgrims in the holy sites. The Makkah Education Department and Sulaiman Al-Rajhi Foundation also supports this year's program.
