Jeddah- The arrival of the last flights in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as part of «Makkah Road» initiative, implemented this year 1439H at Kuala Lumpur and Jakarta airports, was completed at dawn today (Thursday).

Benefiting 103,057 pilgrims through 240 flights, including 137 flights at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah and 103 flights at Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Airport in Madinah.



The Director General of Passports Directorate General, head of the team of the «Makkah Road» Initiative, Major General Sulaiman bin Abdulaziz Al-Yahya, said that this Initiative, which has been crowned with success, represents one of the initiatives that the Supreme Hajj Committee is developing with direct follow-up by Minister of Interior, president of the Supreme Hajj Committee Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif in implementation of the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Vice President of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Defense to continuously improve services being provided for pilgrims.
