Washington- The Riyadh-based Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), represented by Dr. Abdulaziz bin Hamad Al-Owaisheq, Assistant GCC Secretary General for Political Affairs and Negotiations, participated in the periodic meeting of the International Coalition Against Daesh which concluded in Washington today (Sunday).



The meeting, discussed ways used by ISIS to propagate its agenda and recruit the youths, the continuing activities of Daesh, particularly in Iraq and Syria, as well as its spread to new areas in the world following its military defeat in Iraq and Syria.



In remarks following the meeting, Dr. Al-Owaisheq lauded the efforts being exerted by the GCC member states and its specialized institutions allocated to confront the terrorist thought.
