Aden - Yemeni Minister of Culture Marwan Dmmaj has delivered a report containing missing antiquities to the United Nations' Panel of Experts on Yemen.

During his meeting with coordinator Ahmed Humaishi and international law expert Mary Louise of the Panel of Experts, the minister reviewed the cultural situation in Yemen and the destruction of cultural and civilized legacy, especially antiquities.

The minister said that a number of sites and historical buildings were dug up and damaged by Iranian-backed Al-Houthi Militias, pointing out that some of Al-Houthi leaders excavated archaeological sites and sold artifacts in the areas under their control, in addition to the destruction of museums, especially in Aden and Taiz Governorates, which resulted in the loss of many artifacts and manuscripts.
