The Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Awwad bin Saleh Al-Awwad received at King Fahd Cultural Center here this evening the editors in chief of local newspapers.
During the meeting, a number of issues were discussed, including the situation of local press organizations, the study of ways of their development in editing, dissemination and influence and the use of technology and platforms of social media to serve the media content.
They also reviewed international experiences and practices to benefit from similar experiences and ways of developing the media sector and promoting the newspaper industry to be competitive and has a strong impact suits the Kingdom's political, economic and cultural status.
