The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Russian President Vladimir Putin held a bilateral meeting at Kremlin Palace in Moscow today.

At the outset of the meeting, the Russian president welcomed the King, stressing that Saudi-Russian relations are witnessing a remarkable development and the King s visit will give a strong impetus to the development of relations between the two countries, expressing his thanks and appreciation to the King for visiting his country.

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques thanked President Putin for his warm welcome, saying, We are happy to visit your friendly country, looking forward to strengthening relations between our two countries in the interest of peace, security, stability and the growth of the global economy .

During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations, ways of enhancing and developing them in all fields, and regional and international issues.

The meeting was attended by Minister of State and Cabinet Member Dr. Musaed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban, Minister of State and Cabinet s Member Dr. Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz Al-Assaf, Minister of Foreign Affairs Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir and Minister of Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources Engineer Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih.

On the Russian side, it was attended by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, Assistant President for International Affairs Yuri Ushakov and Minister of Energy Alexander Novak.
