وجّه محافظ بارق إبراهيم آل منشط، مقاول مشاريع متعثرة، بتقديم جدول زمني دقيق لمراحل إنجاز مشاريع متعثرة مع التزامه برفع تقارير دورية كل ثلاثة أيام، تُبرز نسب التقدم. جاء ذلك خلال ترؤسه اجتماعاً حضره وكيل المحافظة، ورئيس بلدية بارق عايض المحجاني، ومدير المشاريع بالبلدية وممثل الشركة المقاولة. وقد تناول الاجتماع أسباب تأخر تنفيذ ثلاثة مشاريع حيوية بقيمة إجمالية تبلغ 30 مليون ريال، تشمل ازدواجية طرق ثلوث المنظر، وصعبان المريبعة، وقرن مخلد وبعض المواقع. وأكد محافظ بارق، أن أي تهاون سيُقابل بحزم، لضمان استكمال هذه المشاريع التي تمثل شرياناً تنموياً للمحافظة، مضيفاً أنه ستكون هناك اجتماعات مستمرة مع جميع المقاولين المتعثرين في جميع القطاعات.
تنظيم فعاليات ثقافية وحرفية
من جهة أخرى، عقد محافظ بارق، اجتماعاً آخر مع ممثل هيئة تطوير منطقة عسير، وممثل هيئة التراث بالمنطقة، ورئيس جمعية التراث والحرفيين في المحافظة، والمدير التنفيذي للجمعية، وتركز النقاش حول تمكين الجمعية من تنظيم فعاليات ثقافية وحرفية في ساحة قرية بارق الأثرية، إلى جانب تفعيل المحلات المخصصة للأسر المنتجة، فيما تفقد الموقع برفقة فريق العمل، للوقوف على مدى جاهزية القرية واستكمال الملاحظات السابقة، في خطوة تعكس حرصه على إبراز الإرث الثقافي للمحافظة. ويندرج هذا التوجه ضمن رؤية طموحة لإحياء التراث وتعزيز السياحة الثقافية، تماشياً مع موسم شتاء بارق، وتكريساً لأهداف رؤية المملكة 2030، وإستراتيجية "صعود عسير"، تنفيذاً لتوجيهات أمير منطقة عسير ونائبه، لترسيخ مكانة بارق كوجهة تنموية وثقافية متميزة.
The Governor of Barq, Ibrahim Al-Manshit, directed the contractor for stalled projects to provide an accurate timeline for the completion stages of these projects, committing to submit periodic reports every three days that highlight the progress percentages. This came during his chairing of a meeting attended by the Deputy Governor, the Mayor of Barq, Ayed Al-Muhajani, the Director of Projects at the municipality, and a representative from the contracting company. The meeting addressed the reasons for the delay in the implementation of three vital projects with a total value of 30 million riyals, which include the dualization of Thuluth Al-Manzar roads, Sabaan Al-Muraybah, and Qarn Makhlad, among other locations. The Governor of Barq emphasized that any negligence would be met with firmness to ensure the completion of these projects, which represent a developmental artery for the province, adding that there will be continuous meetings with all stalled contractors across all sectors.
Organizing Cultural and Craft Events
On another note, the Governor of Barq held another meeting with a representative from the Asir Development Authority, a representative from the Heritage Authority in the region, the President of the Heritage and Crafts Association in the province, and the Executive Director of the association. The discussion focused on enabling the association to organize cultural and craft events in the historical village square of Barq, in addition to activating the shops designated for productive families. He inspected the site accompanied by the work team to assess the village's readiness and to address previous observations, in a step that reflects his keenness to highlight the cultural heritage of the province. This approach is part of an ambitious vision to revive heritage and enhance cultural tourism, in line with the Barq Winter Season, and to reinforce the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 and the "Asir Rise" strategy, implementing the directives of the Emir of Asir Region and his deputy, to establish Barq as a distinguished developmental and cultural destination.
