أعلن محافظ بارق إبراهيم آل منشط تأسيس مركز ثقافي يهدف لتعزيز التراث الثقافي والفني للمحافظة، ودعم المبادرات المجتمعية.
وأوضح آل منشط أن المركز يأتي كجزء من رؤية المحافظة لتسليط الضوء على الإرث الثقافي الغني لبارق، بما في ذلك فنونها الشعبية، وقراها التراثية، وتاريخها التليد الممتد إلى العصور القديمة، ومن المتوقع أن يكون المركز منصة للفعاليات الثقافية، وتطوير المواهب المحلية، ما يعزز مكانة بارق كوجهة ثقافية في المنطقة. وقال محافظ بارق إن المركز لديه العديد من الأهداف والمهمات الأساسية التي تتمثل في تعزيز الثقافة الوطنية والانتماء، ونشر الثقافة وتشجيع الإبداع، والتعليم والتوعية الثقافية، وتنظيم الأنشطة الثقافية والترفيهية، وصون التراث الثقافي، والتعاون الثقافي، وتوفير بيئة للحوار والتفاعل.
وأضاف: سيكون موقع المركز بمبنى محافظة بارق، وذلك في الوقت الحالي، ليكون قريباً من الأسواق التاريخية مثل سوق الأربعاء الشعبي بحي العجمة، والقرية الأثرية بساحل، ونقطة جذب للزوار، فيما ستتم استضافة الفعاليات الثقافية والتعليمية مستقبلاً من خلالهما.
The Governor of Barq, Ibrahim Al-Manshati, announced the establishment of a cultural center aimed at enhancing the cultural and artistic heritage of the province and supporting community initiatives.
Al-Manshati explained that the center comes as part of the province's vision to highlight Barq's rich cultural heritage, including its folk arts, heritage villages, and its ancient history. The center is expected to serve as a platform for cultural events and the development of local talents, enhancing Barq's status as a cultural destination in the region. The Governor of Barq stated that the center has many goals and core missions, which include promoting national culture and belonging, spreading culture and encouraging creativity, education and cultural awareness, organizing cultural and recreational activities, preserving cultural heritage, fostering cultural cooperation, and providing an environment for dialogue and interaction.
He added: The center will be located in the Barq Governorate building for the time being, to be close to historical markets such as the Wednesday market in the Al-Ajmah neighborhood and the archaeological village in Sahil, making it an attraction for visitors. Cultural and educational events will be hosted through these venues in the future.
