رسمياً سيكون منهج الذكاء الاصطناعي ضيف العام الدراسي القادم في جميع مراحل التعليم العام، ولم تتم دعوة الضيف القادم في عجلة من الأمر أو نتيجة قرار رغبوي وليد لحظته، بل محصلة دراسات بدأت في يناير 2023 شملت كل التفاصيل المتعلقة بهذا الموضوع المثير الذي أصبح حديث العالم وشغله الشاغل في هذا الوقت.
المنهج تم إنضاجه بالشراكة بين المركز الوطني للمناهج ووزارة التعليم، ووزارة الاتصالات وتقنية المعلومات، والهيئة السعودية للبيانات والذكاء الاصطناعي (سدايا)، وعندما أصبحت الصورة واضحة بخصوص كيفية تطبيقه دراسياً ومدى الفوائد الكبرى التي سيتحصل عليها الطلاب والطالبات من تعلمه، لم نتأخر في ضمه للمنهج التعليمي، ربما كأول دولة في منطقتنا العربية والشرق الأوسط.
هذه الثورة التقنية الهائلة التي يمثلها الذكاء الاصطناعي أصبحت في وقت قصير قادرة على أن تكون حاضرة بقوة في جميع مجالات العلوم التطبيقية والنظرية، وصولاً الى الطب والتدخلات الجراحية المعقدة، وسيكون أي شخص لا يجيد أساسياته في مرتبة متراجعة عن غيره الذين بدأوا تعلمه في وقت مبكر. أي أن مسألة تعلمه لم تعد ترفاً بل ضرورة تعليمية أساسية، وهذا ما انتبهت له المملكة وبدأت مبكراً التحضير له، انسجاماً مع مستهدفات برنامج بناء تنمية القدرات البشرية أحد برامج رؤية المملكة 2030، نحو بناء تعليم شامل يرسّخ القيم، ويُعزز من تنافسية المملكة عالمياً وريادتها في مجال الذكاء الاصطناعي من خلال تمكين الطلاب والطالبات من اكتساب مهارات نوعية تؤهلهم للتفاعل مع العصر الرقمي، والإسهام في إنتاج حلول مبتكرة منذ المراحل الدراسية المبكرة في التعليم العام، والتعليم الجامعي والتدريب التقني والمهني، ووصولاً إلى التدريب والتعلّم مدى الحياة. وذلك كما جاء في مضمون الخبر الذي نشرته وكالة الأنباء السعودية.
الأمم التي لا تواكب التقدم العلمي في الوقت المناسب تكون الفجوات بينها وبين الحاضر والمستقبل كبيرة. لدينا أجيال شابة طموحة مؤهلة لديها شغف المعرفة والقدرة على التفوق في المنافسات العلمية العالمية، والعالم كله يتحول الآن إلى عالم رقمي، ثم جاء الذكاء الاصطناعي ليكون ذروة التحول، والمصطلح السحري الذي سيطغى على المصطلحات المتداولة. ولهذا كان لزاماً علينا أن نتبنى حضوره في التعليم العام. وبالمناسبة فقد تم استخدامه لدينا في عمليات زراعة للقلب تجرى للمرة الأولى في العالم.

The arrival of this guest was not rushed or the result of a spontaneous decision, but rather the outcome of studies that began in January 2023, encompassing all the details related to this exciting topic that has become the talk of the world and its main concern at this time.
The curriculum has been developed in partnership between the National Center for Curriculum and the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, and the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA). Once the picture became clear regarding how it would be academically implemented and the significant benefits that students would gain from learning it, we did not hesitate to include it in the educational curriculum, perhaps as the first country in our Arab region and the Middle East.
This tremendous technological revolution represented by artificial intelligence has quickly become a powerful presence in all fields of applied and theoretical sciences, extending to medicine and complex surgical interventions. Anyone who does not master its fundamentals will find themselves at a disadvantage compared to others who began learning it early. Thus, learning it is no longer a luxury but a basic educational necessity, which is what the Kingdom has recognized and started preparing for early on, in line with the objectives of the Human Capacity Development Program, one of the programs of Saudi Vision 2030, aimed at building an inclusive education that instills values and enhances the Kingdom's global competitiveness and leadership in the field of artificial intelligence by enabling students to acquire quality skills that prepare them to engage with the digital age and contribute to producing innovative solutions from early stages in public education, higher education, and technical and vocational training, extending to lifelong training and learning. Nations that do not keep pace with scientific progress in a timely manner will have significant gaps between themselves and the present and future. Therefore, it was imperative for us to adopt its presence in public education. By the way, it has already been used in heart transplant operations conducted for the first time in the world.
