24 hours after the announcement by Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Bahrain and Egypt the third blacklist of terrorist persons and entities backed by Qatar, details have been revealed to Okaz of a sabotage plot led by Doha, to carry out terrorist operations targeting Riyadh and Abu Dhabi, by mercenaries recruited from two African countries.

According to information obtained by Okaz, Qatari authorities have allocated QR75 million in direct coordination with Saudi dissident Saad al-Faqih, to finance the sabotage plot. It is not the first time that the name of al-Faqih appears as a supporter of terrorist acts. Previous investigations have revealed his involvement in direct and indirect support of al-Qaeda.

The information obtained by Okaz unveiled that Doha sought to recruit mercenaries from Kenya and Somalia, to carry out terrorist operations aimed to destabilizing Saudi Arabia and the UAE. For this reason Mohammed Atm, the second man in command of Mujahideen Youth Movement, is being included in the third terrorists list issued Wednesday. He was assigned with recruiting terrorists from Somalia and Kenya to carry out attacks.

The information published by Okaz about the plan comes just hours after the United States issued warnings of possible terrorist attacks targeting Saudi Arabia and some countries in the region.
