Sheikh Abdullah bin Ali al-Thani has revealed today that Qatar has frozen all his bank accounts.
“The Qatari regime honors me by freezing all of my bank accounts, and I thank them for this honor and I have the honor to present it to the country” al-Thani tweeted on Saturday.
“I hope that Qatar will expel opportunity hunters and friends of interests and return to the Gulf embrace,” he added.
Sheikh Abdullah bin Ali al-Thani is one of the most leading figures from the Qatari ruling family to speak out against Qatar regime in the crisis involving Doha with the gulf states.
