The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will celebrate the 87the anniversary of its National Day which falls tomorrow, on Saturday.
Saudis are recalling this anniversary when late King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud declared the unification of what he named the "Kingdom of Saudi Arabia" on the 19th of the month of Jumada I of 1351 AH (September 23, 1932 AD).
The Kingdom's unification was achieved after 32 years of struggle during which late King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud laid the strongest foundations to build such a great state, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, based on the Holy Quran, adhering to the teachings of Prophet Mohammed - peace be upon him.
We are recalling this anniversary while Saudis are living today a new reality filled with huge development projects that are a testament to their dear country's progress, like those of developed countries.
We are recalling this great anniversary while the Kingdom witnesses a glorious era and a blessed renaissance with more security and stability under the great leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and the Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense.
