Following a meeting with UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York, Foreign Minister Adel Al-Jubeir has said that the solution to the crisis with Qatar is in Doha's hands and that it started because of Qatar's failure to stop supporting terrorism and interfering in the internal affairs of the countries of the region.

The Secretary General of the United Nations discussed with Minister Al-Jubeir recent developments in Yemen, Syria, Iraq and Myanmar, and the close relations between the Kingdom and the United Nations, which is a partner and supportive of its initiatives.

The meeting was attended by Prince Khalid Bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the United States of America, and the Permanent Representative of the Kingdom to the United Nations Ambassador Abdullah Al-Mu'alimi.
