The Saudi National Campaign for Supporting Brothers in Syria continued through its offices in Turkey and Lebanon to distribute bread to Syrian displaced and refugees in the north of Syria and northern Lebanon as part of its food project

The campaign targets displaced people in the governorates of Idlib, Aleppo, rural areas and neighboring camps. During its 196th week, the campaign produced about 1,300,000 (one million and three hundred thousand) loaves of bread per week to benefit more than 556,000 Syrian refugees, while the production of the bakery in the Lebanese region of Akkar in its 34th week of work is about 137,000 loaves of bread benefiting about 40,000 Syrian refugees.


For his part, the regional director of the campaign, Dr. Badr bin Abdul Rahman Al-Samhan said that the combined production capacity of the five bakeries, four of them inside Syria and one in Lebanon, is more than 1,400,000 (one million and four hundred thousand) loaves of bread a week benefiting about 600,000 Syrian people.
