The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud received a phone call from US President Donald Trump today.
During the conversation, they discussed bilateral relations binding the two countries, in addition to the latest regional as well as international developments.
The King stressed, during the call to the president, too, that any US declaration on the status of Al-Quds before reaching a final settlement, would harm peace negotiation process and escalate tension in the region.
Pointing out the unswerving stance of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Monarch added that the Kingdom was and is still committed to support the Palestinian people and their historical rights.
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques reiterated that such a dangerous step of relocation or recognition of Al-Quds as the capital of Israel would constitute a flagrant provocation of Muslims, all over the world, as per its lofty status to them and as it is the cradle of Al-Aqsa Mosque, the first direction, they were facing, in their daily prayers.
